Depends on what you want to do as a job. I recommend any service but the Marines unless you really want to hold the title of Marine. It can be very difficult but highly rewarding as far as self esteem and self respect. BUT many of the jobs in the Marines (about 90%) can be done in one of the other services. The other services also offer more college money, more bonuses, more technical jobs, better facilities, more/better places to be stationed around the world, and since they are bigger, usually better chances at promotion. Do serious research before you decide on a branch or job. And I mean research on your own, not asking recruiters from each branch.

for educational studies, Air Force, Navy, Marines, and Army. Always consider what you want to get out of it first and not just a title.

Air Force is very professional, the job becomes quite easy if you want to become an officer, plus I hear they have the hottest people.

Depends on what you want to do with your life...... select off of what interests you the most. As for the character a few above me who stated something about the 5th branch of the military the coast guard.... ummmmm they are dept of transportation NOT dept of defense.

Each branch of the U.S. military has a specific purpose and each does their job in an outstanding way. Trying to compare branches of the U.S. military is like trying to compare meat with vegetables, fruit, and lumber.
