I have a Popeil Pasta maker that has been great. I remember I got it on sale for $99 at Macy's. They were almost double that in price back then so it was a really good deal. I would guess you would spend between $50 to $125 now depending on how good a machine you want and if you shop for a sale or not.

I am not sure if I've seen this brand, but I know I've seen pasta makers on sale at Homegoods, if you have one near you. One was such a good price I almost got it as a gift, but truthfully didn't think my friend would appreciate it.

I would check the web sites of stores near you that carry small appliances, such as Linens N Things, Macy's, etc and look for a sale and maybe a coupon. I personally prefer getting appliances in a local brick and morter store rather than online because not only is shipping usually expensive but I find with these type appliances they either last a really long time or die very soon. And if you get one that dies soon after purchase you will have a MUCH easier time exchanging it in person than via a web site. I love shopping online for most things but wouldn't for this.

But they are great...think you'll love it if you haven't tried one. And the pasta cooks in virtually no time (2-3 min) and it's fun to add flavors/ingredients. I remember making a lemon dill fettuccini for a shrimp dish. YUM I need to use that machine again...it's been awhile lolol.

I,VE SEEN A NOODLE MAKING MACHINE ON T.V.

RON POPEILL OF RONCO CORPORATION MAKES THE

MACHINE. I CAN,T TELL YOU HOW MUCH IT COST BUT

IT WASN,T MUCH. HE,D PUT A CUP OF WATER IN THE

MACHINE PLUS ANY FLAVOR OF FLOUR YOU WANTED AND

LET THE MIXER WORK FOR AWHILE. HE WOULD THEN

REVERSE THE MACHINE AND THE DOUGH WOULD BE

FORCED OUT OF THESE LITTLE HOLES, THEN YOU,D CUT

THEM OFF WITH A LITTLE CUTTER AT ANY LENGTH.
