I've been brewing my own beers now for about 6 months... a great hobby and well worth it. Micro brews are always going to be superior to mass production and in general European beers are better than domestic, but only if you get them in their country of origin. My favorites though probably have to be:
Great White Belgian Witbier (Lost Coast Brewery, Northern CA)
Hofbrau Munchen (Hofbrauhaus, Munich Germany)
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Stiegel (Vienna, Austria)

I put up with the bitter after taste but I drink Busch just because it's cheap and goes down smootrh and doesn't give me heartburn. My town has plenty of local brews that are far more superior and taste great but I'm a drinker that drinks for the effects. Just me.

Well Budweiser is certainly not the best beer out there, its damn good for its price. I like good Dutch beers like Becks, Grolsh, and Heineken when I can afford them. Guinness and Harp are good too, but only a few at a time.

I'm not that exciting. I love Corona in a bottle with lime or Bud Light in a bottle. I need to get more adventurous and try some of these microbrews I hear so much about.

Abita Turbo Dog, from Louisiana. Smooth full bodied, dark almost mocha flavor, but filling. When I want something less heavy I drink Shiner light a truly flavorful light lager.

For main strem.....Bud Light. Nothin better. I'm from Vermont and we have a lottttttttttt of great microbrews. My faves are Magic Hat, Long Trail, Trout River. They are soo god. But I would jsut like to put a word in......worst beer ever.....KEYSTONE!!! Gives beer a good name.
