If she liked you back, she would have told you.
She knows you feel awkward because she didn't return your feelings and it clearly difficult for you to share. She is being bratty by making you say it outloud. She knows.
If you want to regain a friendship, you will have to give yourself time to get over her. If you don't, then you don't really have to say anything.
Good Luck.

I'm sure she's interested.. if not she would come straight out and tell you that she didn't like you. If she's curious of course she's gonna ask more questions. And anybody would feel weird around someone now that they've been completely honest with their feelings! Everything's out in the open and nothing is hidden. The main thing is that you can be yourself around her. But at this point, its up to her to tell you how she feels, glad there are still guys with guts in the world lol.

Tell her u feel weird around her because u like her and u dont want to say or do something that is stupid and make her think ur a dork or something.
Tell her she just makes u a little nervous cause she is pretty. She will be flattered and wont ask many more critical questions such as this..lol
Good luck

maybe u act weird around her coz ur trying not to do anything weird. ur trying to impress her and that is what makes u uneasy around her. so i guess u r shy when it comes to being around her. i think that she likes u tho coz she said that she knew for a long time which means she was definitely waiting for u to make the first move. if she didnt like u, i supposed she would have told u the first time u told her of ur feelings and not prolong the conversation any further. she wants to be sure u like her so then she'll feel better about a relationship. but time will tell. she give u hints as to whether she's interested or not and trust me, u'll know.

I'd just explain you were worried about losing her friendship or something if you had of told her. Communication really is the best way. As scary and as hard as it is to tell someone to their face how you feel. It saves confusion and trying to read minds which is impossible. She will appreciate your honesty and getting things out in the open. If you be open and honest hopefully it will allow her to do the same and tell you how she feels too.

When she told you she knew, what was her reaction like? Okay, tell her that there is no rational explanation when a person likes someone. Which explains the weird feeling. Try asking her out for lunches at the school canteen. If she says yes, she does like you.

6 years of friendship you should be able to talk to each other and express your feelings or its not much of a friendship. Let her know your experiencing feelings that are new to you and are trying to get a grip in understanding exactly how to express or suppress them if need. Come straight out and ask her if she has experienced any unusual feelings in the same manner. Both of you just need to lighten up relax, laugh and have fun, Sounds like you two are young. Enjoy your friendship, embrace it, Cherish it. Whats more let her know what it means to you.

You can tell if she likes you by the way she acts (kinda like you act towards her). The next time you are alone with her tell her the truth. Tell her why you act weird around her. You can not go wrong if you tell her the truth.

Don't try to explain it. It's normal at first. Going from friends to more is weird at first. If you like her, just tell her you're over the weirdness, be relaxed, and tell her that it'd be really cool if you could kiss her to prove it. She's nervous too, ol' son. Trust me. Later.

You probably feel weird b/c you've been friends for 6 years, all the while having feelings beyond friendship and you don't know how she'll react to it
