I honestly think some men do it just to annoy their women, I'm lucky enough to have a husband who always puts the seat down, its bad Feng Shui to leave the seat and lid up anyhow, it means money going down the pan.

Would you rather they wee'd all over the seat?
I know it can be annoying, but just to be controversial, I was teaching my son to put the seat down the other day, and my hubby (who likes to think outside the square), said that in a world of equal opportunites and rights, why did people assume it was bad to leave a seat up. In his view, women should leave the seat up after they use the loo!
I have to admit, after I'd calmed down, I had to laugh at the sheer (if annoying) logic of his point! Equality works both ways after all ...

We don't all do it, I promise. I've never actually understood it, because it seems that basic mathematics are against us. If you think about the two main things that toilets are designed to deal with, women sit down for both, men sit down for one and usually stand for one. That means 75% of a toilet seat's active life is spent down, and there's a 3 in 4 chance that the next time it's used, it'll be used down, so why it's impossible to programme this into many male brains is beyond me.

Titch titch a typical question from a woman!!!
Why do women think they are so important that they must have the seat put down after men have used the toilet?
After all this is an equal time in life for us all. When women demand equality i agree, equality for us all.
But what if us men were to jump on the band waggon and demand women to put the seat up after they have used it?
Women around the world would cry out with utter outrage, no! Now that doesn't sound like equality to me
After all we all live in an equal world don't you women agree!!!
So please please please end this rubbish now and forever, it doesn't matter who leaves the seat down or who leaves it up!

From the point of view of reason, and from the point of view of equality, I don't know why it should be any more annoying for women to put the seat down then for men to have to put it up. But since I try to be courtious, and personally don't see what the fuss is about (it is not much effort to lift it up or put it down), I leave it down as a rule...

why does it annoy you. Look before you sit and you won't fall. Also we leave the seat up beacuse when we come back to pee again it is more convient and if we come back to do a 2 it is not hard to put it down

Because thats how they pee, it annoys them when you leave it down. It works both ways ya see. If they have to be alert enough in the middle of the night to pick it up AND put it down, why cant women be alert enough to look?

That is very simple, us as men are being courteous when we lift the seat. Second reason is, men always look before we sit, woman just don't look.
Do you know what 3 games you play when you sit on the toilet?
1) Aggravation
2) Concentration
3) Ker-Plunk!

Hi Ladies, let me give you a mans point of view. women get annoyed with men leaving the seat up. men get annoyed with women leaving the seat down. its nothing to do with being sellfish or dirty its just natural, but women tend to get more annoyed. but we dont hold it against you cos we love you, and accept your bad habits. xx

Where did this concept come from anyway????????, It always has to be down. Men have to go more times then women do, it's a scientific fact. Why can't we leave it up and you just bring it down when you have to go. What's to fight about? You leave it as you use it.
Answer that question....
