I have six cats: Sissy, Teddy, Rocky, Faith, Carly, and Rusty.

Sissy is five years old. Rocky, Carly, Teddy, and Faith are four years old. Rusty is three years old.

Sissy is a grey, orange and white calico cat. Teddy is pitch black.
Faith is a black and grey tabby. Carly is a black and white tigered cat with long hair. Both Rocky and Rusty are yellow tabbys.

Sissy came to us as a stray in April 4 years ago. She gave birth to Carly on our porch. After that my parents let her in, feeling sorry for her and recognizing that she needed a warmer place to have her babies. She gave birth to Teddy, Rocky and Faith in my brother's closet. Rusty was a kitten given to my brother when the cat was a couple of months old. My brother kept him for a couple of months and then brought him to my parents' house saying that he couldn't keep Rusty at his place.

At the time, we also had Spooky (a grey cat), Tigie (a long haired black and grey tigered cat), and Wink (a grey and black tabby). They are all deceased now. Tigie showed up outside my preschool when I was 4, and my dad brought him home. He died at sixteen of natural causes. spooky showed up on our doorstep three days before my 5th birthday. He was put to sleep after having him for fifteen years because he was in poor health as he was getting older. Wink showed up on our doorstep on my 15th birthday/Halloween. Its believed he was dropped off by a family who hoped a trick or treater would spot him. He had to be put to sleep a year ago because he had cancer spreading throughout his body.

Sissy I swear is bipolar. She'll want affection one minute and then turn around and claw you for petting her the next minute. She is definitely not a cat to have around children. She is also the oonly cat with a desire to go outside, although we keep all of our cats indoors at all times.

Sissy's daughter Carly is a very affectionate cat. She loves attention and gets along with most other cats and likes all people, except she steers clear of small children.

Sissy' daughter Faith is very skiddish. Sjhe is VERY selective on who she comes to: only myself, my mother and my father. She hides in my parents' closet during the day and comes out at night. She is very playful though. She also has a weird habit of carrying socks.

Sissy's son Teddy is extremely skiddish. He hides from all people and fights with most other cats. I rarely see him. He used to be very affectionate and cry for attention. Something has changed his personality. He used to have a weird habit of taking fake flowers and random objects downstairs into the basement.

Sissy's son Rocky is my little dog. He follows me around the house, lays on my bed, and sleeps on my bookcase. He's playful and loves anything with a string attached. He is also great with children and seeks them out even though my nephew and niece chase him. He treats it like a game and always comes back. When he's had enough he'll retire onto my bookcase.

Rusty is a very weird cat. He shows affection by biting toes. He loves attention and follows people when they come in contact with him. Even though he is unrelated to the other cats he's found his nitch in our family.

Let's see....which cats get along? Well, Sissy doesn't get along with any other cats, which is ironic because they're her offspring.
Carly gets along with everybody but Faith and Sissy. Faith only gets along with Rocky and Teddy. Teddy gets along with everone except Rocky and Sissy. Rocky gets along with only Carly and Faith. Rusty only gets along with Carly and Teddy. Yeah, so basically our cats have to be divided. Rocky, Faith and Sissy live upstairs. Teddy and Rusty live downstairs with Carly, who is the only cat who can go back and forth between the two environments.

Currently have only one cat, she's just over a year old, and is a Ragdoll cat (not a purebred). She was one of a litter from two tabbies we had. It was quite a surprize to have her come out and be a Ragdoll! There was also a snowshoe lynx in the litter.
She has all the characteristics and personality of a Ragdoll, the only thing that gives her away as being a mix is her head - she doesn't have the thin pointy looking Siamese head, but a full, wide tabby head (which I prefer anyway). I think her colouring is sealpoint - full white tummy, big fluffy white ruff, back is taffy-coloured (hence, her name), with dark face, spot on chin, ears, and tail. She is the sweetest, most amazing, and funnest - and funniest - cat we have ever had. That is why we currently only have one - she is enough for us.
Through the last 20 years, we have always had at least two cats - which is a lot more fun to have in the house, both for them, and for us. However, Taffy's character is such that she's enough entertainment for us to handle!

Currently I have two cats

Ripples is long haired (much like a Maine Coone) and he is orange and is 8 years old. I got him from our local SPCA when he was 8 weeks old. He and his other littermates were pulled out of a dumpster in one of our local towns. He has a sweet disposition, although he only wants attention when he wants attention, otherwise he gets annoyed. He is treated much like a king by my husband.

Munch is a short haired black cat, although she is 7 years old, she looks more like she is 7 months old she is tiny-hence the name Munchkin we call her Munch for short. I got Miss Munch when she was a day or two old, her mother was most likely a feral cat who was moving her kittens and Munch got dropped on the sidewalk somewhere along the way. I worked in a Veterinary Hospital at the time and Munch came in with a lady that was trying to help her but did not want to keep her, so I could not say no, I thought when she was 8 weeks I would find her a home but I couldn't give her away. Munch has an odd personality, she is somewhat aloof, she has some very strange behaviors but she is loveable to me.

Both cats get along well together and with my dog. Sorry for the book report.

I have a young cat and a kitten.

My cat Morpheus is a little over 12 months old - he is a smokey devon rex (grey with black points)

My kitten Neo is almost 5 months old - he is a seal point siamese (white with dark brown points)

I bought my devon rex a few months ago from a lady who unfortunately couldn't keep him anymore because her husband wasn't a cat person and she was working too much to spend time with him. I bought the siamese a week later from a Melbourne breeder when he was 12 weeks old. I wanted two cats so they could keep eachother entertained.

It took them only two days to become close friends (on Christmas day actually) now they are constantly into mischief together. They go for walks outside in the harnesses together and always eat my paperwork in the study together. I can't leave a cupboard or draw open without them sticky-beaking inside, and no amount of water bottle squirting will teach them to keep off the benches. They love boxes and their fluffy mousey toys that I bought them.

I sleep with 3 men in bed each night, my partner and my two male cats - so it is very cramped conditions. I'm lucky if I am allowed to have my own pillow and sliver of blanket for the night. In the morning I am woken by my siamese stomping on my head and purring into my ears.

At the moment, my cheekies are bounding around the house chasing a blowfly that has managed to get inside. I can already hear them knocking stuff down of my tallboy.

I love them to bits! Wouldn't have it any other way!

Five

15, 12, 5, 2, 2

Two are part Minx, mostly white with some black. The others are tabby; one yellow, one tweedy, one black and white stripes.

We adopted 2, one was born to a mother cat we used to have, and a friend of my sister's gave us 2.

We've had one for 12 years, one for 8, one for 5, two for 2.

They all have different personalities. One is so calm he's almost like a moving stuffed cat; one is sweet to us but picks fights with all the other cats; two are loners who will not eat with the other cats--one must eat in the computer room and the other the dining room Go figure. One is old, has just four teeth, but he's still got a lot of fire and will fight to protect his bud.

Four of them get along just fine, but the fifth picks fights.

We have 3 cats. The oldest is a plain old house cat, he is 5 1/2 and I got him from my sister. We have had him since he was six weeks old. His name is Ist.
The second will be 2 in August. He is a mix of siamese and orange tiger. He has the most beautiful blue eyes. We have had him since we rescued him at the age of 3 weeks. We have had him about 16 months. His name is Two-bit, but we call him little dog.
The third is about 8 months old. He is a mix. We got him from a friend. His name is Chappy, but we call him meekerat. (he acts like a meerkat, so we slightly changed it)
They all get along fine. The two oldest have their play time and the two youngest have their play time. When they get going, we say the race track is open. They run over anything and everything.
Ist is shy. He doesnt like to be held and only wants to be loved when he wants it.
Little dog, is just that. He acts like a dog. He goes to the door when company comes. He lays between our two big dogs on the floor, he eats their food. The only thing he doesnt do is bark. Also, he likes to nurse on your ear or your hand, a blanket, a pillow, basically anything he can put in his mouth. He has done this since we got him at 3 weeks after his mother died.
Meekerat, is the baby. He acts like a meerkat. He also likes to eat alot. He likes to curl up in the crook of your arm and lick and kneed your skin until he falls asleep. He will also fall asleep laying beside the two dogs.
They all get along fine, even with our two dogs.

I have two cats. One is 2 1/2 and the other is 10 months. The older one is half persian and she's chocolate color and the kitten is half maine coon and she's a tuxedo kitty. The persian, Mocha, came from a shelter and the kitten, Java, came from a pet store in IN. (BAD idea to get her from a pet shop; she came home with fleas and a virus) We've had them both since they were 8 weeks old. Mocha is very sweet but very very shy with strangers and pretty skittish with noises etc. Java is really affectionate but she gets into EVERYTHING and she is not afraid of anyone or anything. They do get along very well. They sleep together, play together, clean each other, talk to each other, etc etc. :)
