No, I ask God about that and he told me not to worry cause He made sure that I was born right the first time.

Did you know you just repeated yourself three times? Being born again, being a Christian, and being saved is the same thing. The fallacy that being "born again" is a special type of Christian is a lie that the evangelical church invented.
Christ told Nicodemus when he comes searching for answers. In the Greek, the word that is translated in some Bibles as "again" does not just mean again. In the NRSV, it is translated as born from above. In the Greek, there are many words with double and even triple meanings. There is one that seen here. The word in Greek (anothan) means "again" and "from above". Again is more of the earthly meaning. From above is heavenly above. Nicodemus takes the earthly and misses the heavenly meaning.
You cannot be born from above or without the power of God. In the passage it mentions that we do not know where the wind comes from or where it is going. The word used in Greek for wind, spirit, and breath is all the same word. It is the same way in Hebrew (one word for all three).
You are born again or born from above when you accept the everlasting life that is a promise from God. Everlasting life is a promise that we can have today. When you accept the sacrifice from God, you are born from above by the spirit of God. You need to stop believing that there is a special brand of Christian when someone says they are "born again".

"As the Bible says, I am already saved (Rom. 8:24, Eph. 2:5–8), but I’m also being saved (1 Cor. 1:8, 2 Cor. 2:15, Phil. 2:12), and I have the hope that I will be saved (Rom. 5:9–10, 1 Cor. 3:12–15). Like the apostle Paul I am working out my salvation in fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12), with hopeful confidence in the promises of Christ (Rom. 5:2, 2 Tim. 2:11–13)."

Yes. I'm a born again Christian.
I knew I was saved, when I confessed my sins before God, acknowledged myself a sinner in need of his help, sought forgiveness and asked for His Holy Spirit to come and be my guide.
- In doing so, I was given a peace that surpasses ALL understanding. It's not something I could describe here.
Thank you for asking such a profound, and meaningful question. I pray that someone will gain understanding/guidance from it.
God Bless.

I knew when I was saved the momment it happened.
For You My Love
Softly,oh so softly I heard someone call my name
Gently,oh so gently I felt someone calling for me
But the darkness continued to engulf me as I blindly felt my way
I stumbled along helplessly, forever lost at sea
And then one day I saw the source of His voice
Calling to me ever so gently, saying please, please come home
And the darkness that surrounded me shrank back from his voice
And I stepped forward and oh so carefully embraced my fathers love
How can one as magnificent as He have such a sweet sweet voice
And why would he want to save someone such as me?
His love fills me and his light gives me life
How I could praise that day a thousand times when I first heard him say
In a voice soft and gentle calling me home to stay.

Nope.
I fell out of a tree, once, and if it wasn't for the rope I'd been tying to the tree, I would've hurt myself badly, but the jerk of the rope, before it broke, changed the velocity of my fall, and I was saved from serious injury.
I was hanging a swing for some smaller kids in the neighborhood. The first string for it was- I kid you not- a bunch of shoelaces tied together.
I went back to my house, got some rope and used that instead.
I guess you could say I wasn't saved by lace, but by jerk.

Faith does not save a person. If you are helped, it is a gift, grace, of the Almighty YHVH. Most people have faith in something else, which cannot save. And in the end most people will choose to be lost rather than come to the Savior YAHOSHUA for salvation!
The Almighty YHVH set up a system. He sent His “Son” YAHOSHUA to die for the sins of mankind so they would not have to. (They could choose to, but did not have to). Any person who chooses not to allow Yahoshua to take care of their sins, chooses to remain attached to their sins. They thus will wind up in the lake of fire which is YHVH’s method of cleaning this world, and eliminating sin and sinners. The Creator set aside the Seventh day for rest and worship. Yes that is the day usually called “Saturday”. We are not saved by obedience, we are saved by faith. However we are saved FOR obedience. As He said in John 14:15 (and in many other places) “If you love me, keep my commandments.
The only thing that will change a person is the indwelling savior Yahoshua. Obviously that is rare in this sinful world.
