I have asheltie, but i think border collies are gorgeous! I still love shelties the best though (border collies second!)

Border Collie, Shelties can be a little noisy. Both need a lot of exercise, possibly more for the BC.

I think they are both very beautiful dogs. Although I wouldn't get either one (Sheltie because of price and grooming, Border Collie because of thorough exercise needs) but they are great dogs. If I really had to get one, I'd go Border Collie.

I'm biased, because I have a Sheltie. They do bark a lot, but that's the only drawback of the breed. Unless you count the fact that they're so smart... sometimes they think they can outsmart you!
As for Border Collies, they're very smart too, but they require a LOT of activity to keep them happy. They're very active, and if they aren't given an outlet for all their energy, they'll start to be naughty.

Neither. Shelties bark too much and I don't have the time for a Border Collie.

Shelties are very pretty. I prefer border collies for their temperment.

Shelties i have a total of 6 of them Father and son, mother and son, the last two i have now are a male bi blue witch is realated to the female and the sable is a rescue i have had for 4 years
