I think you should make a schedule for the week and put so many hours for each day. And if they put any blocking thing on your comp it will block your myspace.

Did your parents have a problem with it being upstairs in the first place? If not, sounds like your parents friends put some ideas in their heads. Ask them why you can't have it up in your room. And what ever their answers are I'm sure you will find the appropriate answer. Then ask them to please put it back upstairs. Other than that I don't know what else to tell you. Is there anyone out there that can help this person?

Maybe once you can prove that you are trustworthy on the computer you can suggest it be moved. Explain that it is just for privacy reasons not because you want to search things you shouldn't. Unfortunately that is the best advice can give you. The internet can be a dangerous place these days and I admire your parents for caring enough about you to make sure you are safe. Even older men can be fooled by young girls posing as adults etc. There are alot of deceiving people out there. I think showing you are trustworthy and maybe giving them some time to see how mature you are on the net will get your privacy back.

I hate to act like a parent, but 2 hours is a bit much to be on the computer. Go out and find the sun!

If you aren't doing anything bad, then allow them to move the computer. There are so many predators trolling the net, I'm sure your parents are more scared of them hurting you than you doing anything bad. Show them you know how to use the net, how you've learned to protect yourself, and maybe they'll allow you to move it back upstairs.

Now go get some fresh air!

I'm not too familiar with Macs, but if you can use user accounts or anything like you can in wondows, then just use your own account so they don't see all that. And if your worried about when your actually using it, just casually click another window to cover that up. I do it all the time and my parents never ask,
