All of the above. Religion and sprituality is a personal journey for each individual. Religion is meant to be a path to spiritual awakening. No religion is a a one-size-fits all. Different religions work and resonate with different people. That's why there are so many.
So Freedom of Religion means the right to practice and believe in any religion the individual chooses for himself. I also believe it gives people the right to not have a religion at all if they don't want one.

Freedom of religion.
To not be set upon by those who believe their religion is the only true religion and make my own way to the truth of knowledge. To look beyond the words of few and deeply into the words of many who believe they were or are a religion. To find what does great good here were we reside and does no harm. To look beyond to more than just a single lifetime that might be affected by my words and deeds.

It means all of those things, and freedom to not choose. It means that no one can make you believe their religion, and that the government can not stipulate a religion.

Insurance that the government will not interfere with my freedom to worship. That there will not be an official state religion such as what was prominent in most of Europe when this country was founded.

In the time of independence countries in Europe imposed State Religion on their subjects. Whatever your King or Queen believed his/her people were forced to believe as well. Practicing any other form of religion was outlawed and punishable by death.
Freedom of religion means you are free to practice any type of religion without prosecution.

All of the above.
Freedom of religion means, allowing yourself to choose a religion that suits you, even if that is accepting you don't want or believe in any religion. Allowing others to believe and practice whatever religion they choose.

To me, it means I have the right to have any belief regarding religion that I wish, that no specific religion or sect can be officially endorsed or enforced by my government and that no one has the right to shove their religion down my throat or indoctrinate my children into their religion. It is, unfortunately, not enforced in the U.S. - it may be in the founding documents, but, in practice, this is a Christian-dominated nation.
