No my boyfriend is black. If you are white and you are just starting to date a black person and never have before it can be very wierd. The guy I'm dating now is the first black guy I've dated and when we first started dating it was weird because our cultures were SSSSSSSSSSSOOOOO different!

I wouldn't say it is weird. I don't see anything wrong with interracial relationships but I believe that as a couple you may experience a lot of hardships because you are white and he is black. I admire people who date people out of their race because that shows you do not care what others care about as long as the two of you are happy together that's all that counts.

personally, yes. I try to see things from their point of view, but everyone I've ever known that went black to white, white to black had some sort of bad persoanl past or bad emotional trouble. I think it's a side effect of your negative input that cause a person to jump so far outside their own race for companionship. Maybe someone will change my mind one day.

It is not weird, but it will a difficult road. Depending where you live, there is still alot of racism out there and you will encounter it I assure you. It is something that you will have to see if you can take it and how it goes for you. Also your parents may be against it not because of racism, but they may feel that if you fall in love with this person, you will have a difficult time. This decision is completely up to you.

I had to end it after our first kiss. Because I was thinking about what my grandparents would think. We come from a long line of accomplished European background.
I think its all right to date someone of different ethnicity but to marry and have children, I think, probably because I'm old-fashioned, to someone date within your own ethnicity.

Weird - DEFINITELY NOT! I think diversity is beautiful. I only think it's weird to date someone if you feel weird about them.
Anyway, haven't you ever seen bi-racial children?!? They are THE most beautiful people on earth.

Nope, date who you want. Race doesn't matter, if you like the person, then so be it. Do what you want and don't be influenced by others opinions and what not.
