My boyfriend is being such a jerk and he keeps pushing me away what should i do?

If he's being such a jerk, leave him. Or tell him that he needs to change and see if he does before you leave. I know that if I was being a jerk to my girl she'd tell me to get out. We might not break up, but I would have some issues to deal with before I could see her again. It's happened and I overcame it. Some guys wil realize that they have to change and they'll be different, others won't and become a victim of their own demise.

That was very immature of you. Do not classify all guys as jerks - I am a male, and I am not a jerk. So the answer to your main question is No.
One possible reason he keeps pushing you away is that he thinks you are too clingy or needy.
Another reason could be that he wants to break up with you, but is afraid to end it - he could be pushing you away so that you end the relationship.
Anyways, why don't you just dump him - all guys are jerks anyways.

if he is being such a jerk u should dump him but if u really like him u should start not talking to him until he cools down then he will be all over u trying to get ur attention.

No they are all not, but it takes you to go through some hectic in order to appreciate something nice. We all know us females tend to say" I want a good man, but when we get him we dont know how to treat him". So maybe this is your test but I suggest you to pray about the situation and if it leads to a break up think are you happier with him pushing you away or getting to know someone who will truly accept you no matter what. not all guys are jerks, take me for example. The only reason u think this is because all that u are seeing around u is jerks. they stand out. other guys are shy and keep to themselves so u end up not noticing them. i would suggest u dump him.
