if you are totally happy being single, thats what you should do... keep your self happy, and let your friends worry about their situations.

I don't think there is anything wrong with not having a boyfriend for the length of time as you. So what, your happy with the way things are, and when you are ready you will date. There is no rush. Don't let anyone tell you that it's not right that you don't have a boyfriend. They would just be jealous of you because you don't have a ball and chain hooked to your ankle and they do. Enjoy yourself, you don't need to have to answer to anyone at this point in time.

yeah! I had a period of time, it was a year and I was single! I loved it too! When the right guy came around, that stood out, I went out with him, and it ended my singleness. But its better then being single for a short period of time, and dating crappy guys over and over not making yourself very happy. Your friends should respect you in that you want to be single for now.

Have fun! Be free! Travel while you aren't tied down, I did! Live your life!

I actually prefer the single life. It's better than being clingy and having to depend on someone else. Relationships are great but, don't put yourself out there for just anyone.

It's more healthy than being in a really abusive, suffocating, controlling or codependent relationship.

Normal is over-rated. Dysfunctional is the norm. Happy and healthy relationships are the exception.

Hope that helps.

yes it is normal because some women feel that they don't need a men to make them happy and a real friend wouldn't make fun of you no matter what happens

Completely normal. Your friends need to understand that it doen't take a man to complete your life. If you are happy and comfortable on your own, then who cares what your friends think. If they were truly your friends they would understand your decision and be happy that you are happy.

Being single is more fun, you can do whatever the hell you want... relationships are good at first and then jealousy and insecurity kicks in and they just go to ****...

Give me a break. You will have dry times in your life. This is just one of them. Tell your friends to chill and then you will. That is when love comes along.
