If you are interested in culture and natural resources that would be Bolivia or Peru. Bolivia has the a few ruins of the pre-inca of course if you want to see the capital of the incas you have to go to cuzco peru, also, the second biggest and highest lake(TIticaca lake) in southamerica is located between Bolivia and Peru, Bolivia used to have the largest silver mine on earth (state of Potosi), also the biggest salt field on earth (between the state of oruro and potosi), La paz- Bolivia is the highest capital on earth. you can also enjoy a tour in the amazon of Bolivia and Peru. And the really good thing is that everything in Bolivia is cheap. To give you an idea: a double sheese burger with fries and a coke is 10 pesos bolivianos = 1.2 US$

I'd suggest the Renaissance treasures of Italy (Florence, Siena Rome, Verona, Bologne, Ravenna, Venice) finishing in either Sorrento on the Almafi Coast in the South, or at Cinque Terre
followed by the cultural cities of Spain (Salamanca, Santiago De Compostela, Madrid with day trips to Toledo and Segovia, then the Moorish Christian cities of Granada (for the Alhambra Palace), Cordoba (for the Mezquitta) and Seville, finishing in Barcelona!
Happy Trails

I say go to Palenque in Mexico and look at the Mayan and Aztec buildings. Those are interesting for any ages. It's a trip worth going for. And I am only 15. It gave me an idea of what I wanted to be when I grow up. I want to be and epigrapher which is a person who reads hieroglyphics. I memorized half by heart. It's great and an archeologist. It's so great to discover and find out so many things about history and the past.

I would suggest a cruise or an all inclusive resort. Ask your travel agent about options. If you like to lounge a resort is great. Cruises are good too--you can choose how active or inactive you wish to be. They are also not as formal and structured as they used to be...no dinner times, nor formal wear for evenings after rushing around all day on tours. Went on a christmas/new years cruise last year to the western carribean...it was fabulous. If tropics are not your thing...they have cruises to european places as well. Travel agents will have WAY more information for you. Enjoy !

Maui Lahaina. The reason I recommend this to you is if you were real savvy or super rich, you wouldn't be asking this. Of course I am prejudiced living in Portland OR it is a 5 hr plane ride. If I lived on the east coast, I would go to St Thomas Virgin Islands.

A cruise. Go see somewhere you've always wanted to see. There are a lot of things to do on the ship and you are surrounded by people.

Take a cruise! You can pick an intinerary that suits YOU, and you only have to unpack ONCE (in your stateroom) and it's like being on a floating hotel that takes YOU from city to city. Unbeatable!
