Please call and ask the vet when you need to take the kittens in. As for weening, 8 weeks. Mama cat will show them how to use their potty box, and clean themselves. The vet can let you know when it's time for shots, and fixing. Take care.

The mother cat will take care of the kittens until they are ready to be on there own at 6-8 weeks old then you can take them to the vet and ween them from the mother kitten and find them new homes. Otherwise let the mom do her job and take care of the kittens and she should be just fine.
