Inteleyes & Gorgeoust: Yes I have done that but still don't know how the soul is held in the body. I may have an answer but not sure. This is not a easy to answer question, is it?

I am smiling... the opportunity to answer my own question...
hmmmm inteleyes is very nearly there... I have found that indeed the heart is a component of humanities limitations if not cared for. Let me add this, as the heart forces the blood to flow it causes sensation in the body which the mind pays attention to subconsciously and consciously. Now the body is designed to be largely automatic (unless you are impaired through some abnormal physical condition, which I should say in just about every case is the result of ones own doing, one way or another there are no accidents only effects… that is another topic) so if the conscious soul continually has to return to the body to maintain it hence it is trapped by the affliction. However if the body is fit and healthy the only other thing to overcome is the sensations of the body and to let them go you have to first become aware of them (like walking around the house looking for your sunglasses only to become aware they are on top of your head!) the sensations are a result of electro magnetic movement.... :-) so the soul is not really held rather trapped by a lack of knowledge and experience.... which is?

The Bible says that we ARE a soul. We do no have a soul. That is why when we die, we are just gone. There is no heaven that we go to or hell or purgatory or reincarnated body. Example? When they report how many people are onboard a plane, they report : "100 Souls onboard sir." Proof? Genesis 2:7, 1 Corin. 15:45, 1 pet. 3:20, Gen. 9:5, Josh 11:11, Acts 3:23. Look them up. The Word of Jehovah tells us everything. Good Question.

Not sure what you mean by soul, but I know James Brown had a lot of it. I've eaten sole before (large numbers to be found off the coast of Dover) and my digestive system holds this in my body for a while at least. Your soul may be able to escape through your open mouth, perhaps keep it closed just in case.

The soul can come out of the body, when asleep, due that the body is very relaxed, and heart rate slowed down, some people can do it very easily, because their aura is larger than most, it just floats out of the body, and you can see yourself asleep, very few learn to travel at this point. Although, larger aura has to do with having a compassionate heart. So basically what holds it in is, fast heart rate, not being relaxed, and not having that extra spiritual compassion to give you the larger aura. That would be my perspective as close to the truth that I know of on that issue.

Interesting question. I don't know for sure, of course. Out of body experiences are common, yet when they occur they are brief. I believe that the body would die without the soul. Obviously the soul does not need the body to survive.

So by your reasoning when I boil a pot of water, what I see is the soul death and allowing the water to split into billions of things??? our bodies like different good products are held jointly by atomic bonds. in a good merchandise the bonds are close and inflexible, as a good merchandise is going from good to liquid the bonds boost and develop into versatile. And once a liquid turns to gasoline the bonds are damaged and the atoms glide freely by the air (reckoning on the density of the particle)

The soul is the combination of the physical body and the breath of life. It could not leave because it is not a separate thing. When the person dies, the soul also dies.

The heart beat keeps the soul inside and the breath of life because that was how it got there; Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The left elbow. When you hit it your arm gets tingly. That's your soul shouting at you to stay still. It hapens in the right elbow too. That's the devil. Yup, straight out of the Bible.
