Very little and none regarding the text of the Constitution, the United States was predominantly formed on principals of freedom from oppression from the leaders of the nations from which the original colonists emigrated from and/or the religious denominations they were breaking ties from. The most famous example being the Pilgrims who left England and later Holland to come to the New World establishing the Mayflower Compact which would become one of the writings from which the Declaration of Independence and Constitution would later be founded on. The more important foundational document was "The Fundamental Orders (The First Constitution of Connecticut) of which every delegate in the Constitutional Congress of the 1780s period a copy was given.
Most of the founding fathers who were church members belonged either to the Puritan church in the New England colonies and the Anglican/Episcopalian Church in the Southern Colonies, George Washington having attended the latter.
If any of the founders of the nation were Catholic they had as little role as any other non-Protestants regarding moral and religious foundations, such as Haym Salomon, a Jew who helped finance the Revolutionary Effort.

there is a big difference between the two=- Christianity and Catholicism.... there were numerous catholic missionaries who came to bring the word to the Indians. Check out the Timiquana indians and Ft Matanzaas. I know there were missionaries there. also, depending on the foundation of the paper - Kazimierz Pulaski fought along side Geo. Washington in the American Revolution and he was a Catholic....
good luck!
also - the back of many Catholic immigrants were used to build up this great country too.....

No Catholics were allowed in the States then, except for the Spanish and French territories and the state of Maryland. Most all of Europe had just come out from under domination by the Roman Catholic church for a 1000 years. They were not about to allow that to happen again.

Terrance J: The people from England left because they wanted to be free from the Puritan Church and they were also sent over here after being found guilty of various crimes. Stealing a loaf of bread could get you transported to the "colonies". The Catholic Church had nothing to do with people coming here.
