He's playing games. Sounds like too da*n much melodrama for my liking. I suggest you play it cool and refuse to get dragged into the mess...because someone's feelings will undoubtedly get hurt.

How many friends does he have that tell you that this guy likes you? Because its probably likely that one of his friends likes you, which would explain why they keep on telling you this guy likes you. They obviously want your attention.
Have you ever talked to this guy at school or anywhere face-to-face? Because if not, its probably likely that he doesn't like you and the person who IMed you was one of his friends.
Some advice just in general....boys are so immature. Seriously. So, if this guy doesn't end up liking you like his friends all say...I'd suggest finding a guy who has more mature friends. haha

well in school, these things happen everyday,it is not uncommon for school kids to change gf/bf every couple weeks, the word " LIKE" doesnt mean LOVE..so let things happen ..the boy is just trying to find a g/f so he tells more than one girl he likes them.

well guys are very difficult creatures and they say things but they most of the time tell their friends the truth but either way you and your friend will have problems so i think you both should just forget him cause he couldnt be more important than your friend
