Your options are to kill them both now, save on for later, or die.
I suggest killing both, eat what you can of them, strip the corpses before you dump them. Save some for bait. Save some bone.
Fashion fishing line by unweaving some of the clothing (save most for sun shelter). Make gorges out of bone splinters and start fishing. Such the moisture out of the fish, eat some, use some for more bait. If rescued dump all evidence soonest and be ready to say "Who?"
