are there airlines which work with commuters from europe to london(monthly travel card or shuttle like they have in san francisco)? want to leave london but have a job in london and am going to transition overseas slowly. I need to commute daily as i have pets. Eurostar/eurotunnel/and all the airlines need advance bookings and charge you an arm and a leg if you just show up...not really practical. ferry was really slow and disorganized. I work as a contractor in IT and would like to get a comfort level before the move is permanent and I get a job in Italy. I'm thinking 'no' and i just need to get a contract there but I figured I would try you all for ideas.

look at ryanair.com. They have extremely cheap commuter flights.
this seems like a pretty hard thing to do daily, though.
why not just take the plunge?

I do similar work and I do a weekly commute. Iused to use Ryanair for travelling between Gatwick and Dublin.

Daily travel over that distance will kill you. Suggest you get a house sitter or get rid of the pets.
