You are not alone. I am a Christian. I do believe in a theistic evolution. I do not think that it was random, but, instead, I think there was a creator that put it in motion and continually is creating today. I do not think that God has stopped creating. You aren't alone.
Also, I think it is more important to concentrate on the being that is behind creation rather than the process behind the creation.

I see no contradiction between the two. I believe in evolution and G-d.

I buy into evolution to a certain extent. I believe all things evolve to survive and those who don't go extinct. If you literally read into the 7 day creation time frame, you will drive yourself crazy. I have a hard time swallowing the primordial ooze or monkey thing but I believe early man/woman looked extremely different from their modern day counterparts. Look up the name Dr. Hovent if you want to see someone with literal beliefs.

My friend, you are not alone. As an Orthodox Jew I believe in evolution, because Tanach expresses it. As one of the greatest rabbis, Maimonides, wrote, "if science and Torah were misaligned, it was either because science was not understood or the Torah was misinterpreted."

I am here for you gratvol.
Evolution and G-d don't contradict. In fact, Torah actually supports evolution. Don't be sad, we are all here.

i believe in evolution, but i also beleive in God, there are many parts of the bible i do not beleive. i know many christians that say that if u don't believe the whole bible u are calling God a liar, but i do not beleive that, because God himself did not write the Bible, man did. Man claimed to hear the voice of God, and therefore it is not necessarily true, because man is known to lie, and also known to be crazy and have hallucinations.

Why would they? As far as Christianity goes, the entire first book of the Bible pretty much tells us evolution is wrong.
