Naturally, I have dirty blond hair. About two months ago, I added some highlights in. A few days ago I dyed my hair a medium brown. It looks O.K., I do like the color... but you can still see some blond showing through... it gives the "faded" look. Now, I'm not sure as to what I should do... whether I should go to a salon and get it professionaly fixed or if I should redye it the same color. I don't know if that would help... would love some advice, I'm new to this.

Your hair is porous and when you hilighted it it became even more so ,so the color you put in bleed through and will cont.to do so.You need to fill in the porousness of the hair if it was semi permanent color try it once more if not I'd go to a salon.
