Coming out is more critical when you are in a relationship that's important to you, at least it was for me.

I would wait until you are more able to support yourself, if you believe you'll get thrown out.

I must start Im not gay but have few friends that are ,When to tell them your gay is when you have enough money to get your own place and be able to feed yourself , parents will always freak out , think it their fault you turned out this way ,so tell them your moving out on yer own not with bf/gf then tell them and let them come around on there own visit on sundays call once and a while do not discuss the gay issue till they bring it up with you again that way they can never say that your trying to shove your way of life down there throat . This is the best way and worked the best for my friend greg hes very close to his ma/pa where the other guy and girl are estranged from theirs

You don't say how old you are. If your an adult living at home I would just tell them that you would like them to meet someone that is special to you, but you need to tell them that you are gay first. If you are a teen and still in school, I would ask you to consider that you may not be gay but going through a normal phase. If you are sure you are gay, them pick a quiet time and ask them if you can have a serious discussion with them and approach the subject quietly and calmly.

If you're worried they might kick you out of the house wait until you can afford to support y ourself. Good luck with that. That must be difficult.

In this day and age I don't think it will be such a big blow to them, just sit down and explain how you feel.Years ago your father would have killed you but its a new age.

theres no rite time...
its when u feel comfortable with yourself!
try when theres no major problems....when things are calm...probably go with the one parent u feel closes to first...that might help.

good luck

you should just tell your parents, they shouldnt judge you if they love you, because it doesnt make you any different, so you shouldnt be afraid, just tell them, and good luck
