It is legal as long as you get permission from the author and then state where you got that section of film in your movie. You must credit the soucre, the author and have the authors permission.

Only if it is not copyrighted and you have rights to do so. also youll have to give credit to it at the end of the video. like a works cited kind of.

if they have a trade mark. no. any video not done by you or used as freeware (oh and trailers) you cannot do that. but perhaps if you buy a movie and put a clip on youtube i think its legal
