Where can I get realistic trees and forest themed decor for my bedroom?

Realisitic trees? Forest themed decor? I saw a realisitic tree on Extreme Home Makeover once, but I think they made it. So I think your only hopes are getting out the wood and paint.

We lived in a log cabin for several years. Get ideas from stores and sites that feature camping and fishing stuff, i.e. www.basspro.com etc. I also went for walks outdoors and collected pinecones and sat them around in wicker baskets or galvenized buckets. Collect interesting pieces of bark, and glue onto birdhouses and set around. Get very lifelike birds at Hobby Lobby or similar stores to put with the houses. Also collect pussie willows for arrangements, as well as feathers, acorns, etc. Go to book stores and watch for sales on books and buy books on various birds and wildlife you'd expect to find in a forest. Reader's Digest puts out a great one. It is educational and looks great on a table. Even a magazine such as Birds and Blooms is inexpensive and looks good.

try getting wall paper that has a forest background and place it on one wall and work with that....
