If GOD had meant for man to fly he would of made him with wings. Many churches opposed avation some even calling it the work of Satan. The same thing with social security cards and segragation quoting many Bible verses. Now for Atheist, I am 40 and was taught that Nebraska Man was evolutionary fact in High School. It is now a hoax. There are many holes on evolution that need to be plugged before it holds water. Can we agree that as Christians and Atheist if evolution and carbon dating became a stable solid science that we would all accept it? I.E. Almost all Christians believe in dinosours. We disagree about the dates they were alive but we don't debate them. Can we agree to that? (sorry for long discription)

No. In them minds of most evolutionist and many scientist evolution and carbon dating "is" a solid science. We must clear away the "make believe" before we can set ground rules for each other.
I am glad that you will admit that Nebraska man was a hoax. That takes honesty. Unfortunately most evolutionist do not believe this. I think "believe" is a key word for us all.

Dinosaurs did exist. But no one is absolutely sure when. Carbon dating can show us only until 11 thousand years ago, and that is debated by many scientists, for they say once something is or has been saturated in water, the carbon dating is way out of range. I agree with the Bible and Science on how the world was brought about. In Genesis it states the exact way the world was made. First came this, then came that etc. Also, I don't agree with Christians who believe that a Day to God is 24 hours. That is ludicrous. Throughout the Bible, a Day is never a Day, but a symbol of time. A Day to God might be thousands of years. Who knows? Science and the Bible also agree on another point. 732 BCE Isaiah wrote about the Circle of the Earth. Catholics tried to ignore that and force the idea that the earth was flat! So, maybe Catholics and the Bible don't agree, but Evolution and the Bible do on many points. (Except the big one that God made everything) But besides that, I'm sure we can all 'just get along"

Holy crap, the retraction for Nebraska Man was published in Science in 1927. What kind of backwards high school did you go to?

I must say I never heard of a church that doesn't believe in aviation. I think it would be safe to say such are eccentric. As for other issue you raise, lets just say there are other approaches to reconciling the Scriptures an science. Please check out this website:

If we'd get as Intense as your Avatar Looks, we could get Science to Agree with the Bible.
And Vice-Versa.
No joke.

What makes you think we're all looking to agree? It doesn't bother me that someone thinks I'm wrong if they obviously are.
