The world/earth is Not going to end.
The entire world of mankind is Not going to end.
The segment of mankind --& man's organizations-- that are alienated by God ARE going to end ...

No, the people trying to predict the time of the end of the word are extremely foolish. Jesus said that he doesnt even know the hour of his return. Why would any man know?

People have been predicting the end of the world for the last three thousand years.
I have no reason to suspect that it is coming now that at any other time in history.

The end of the world has been predicted for many many thousands of years and has yet to happen. Theres no reason why it will happen in 2012. Incidentally, I also heard, it will happen in 2032, 2054, and 2514.
Enough with the doom saying already. Its not going to happen. Get used to it.

No it's 2036, but chances of it happening are very slim.
These are among the scenarios projected for asteroid Apophis, which researchers now say has a 1 in 45,000 chance of hitting Earth on 13 April 2036.

I dont agree. I remember a lot of Jehovah Witnesses publishing WatchTowers with predicted dates back in the 70s. Its really dumb trying to outguess God.
