a woman is not interested in a guy but yet instead of telling him she's not interested in him she gives him a fake phone number,why do they do that.

because they don't want to tell them in there face that there not interested in them.

It is wrong to say that "girls do evil things." That is a generalization. Those can get you in trouble. Better to say, "I know this girl who did an evil thing."
And how do you know she did it with evil intent? Maybe, she did not want to hurt your feelings because she thinks you are a nice guy but just not her type.
Or maybe she lacks the intestinal fortitude to be honest with you and tell you she does not want to give you her number. Maybe her parents do not allow her to get calls from boys.
There are so many different things to consider that I highly doubt she did it with evil intent.
Why do they do that? Why does anyone lie? Male or female.
Things will be much better in society when people realize that telling the truth is much easier and kinder than telling lies.

I think it's a stupid way to let someone know there are not interested. I do believe that a lot of girls don't know how to come out and just flat out say I don't like you. Honestly if they could take the time out to get to know them, they might just find love or even a good friend. Take care and try not to let it bother you. I'm sure you are very good looking.

When I was about 17 yrs. old, my mother, her boyfriend, my sister and her boyfriend, and ME with a sailor my mother had chosen to be my date were walking home after a movie. The sailor kept wanting to hold my hand.
My mother said, "let Stanley hold your hand..."
I said, "No. It makes me sick to think of doing that. He's sickening."
The sailor started crying.
After that I just didn't go out with people I didn't like.
Does that answer your question? Not every one wants to go out with you just because you're interested. To keep from hurting your feelings, they take maneuvers they think will be less painful to you.
Be thankful. Don't think of it as an evil thing... she's trying not to hurt you.
OR--the telephone number could have been wrong by mistake, not an intended diss.
