That is what satan does. I try not to let it get to me. Jesus told us not to be dismayed. He said that world would hate us because it first hated Him. So try not to let them get to you. Jesus told us beforehand it would happen. May God Bless U.

Oh expensive yet another christian unaware of what an atheist is and showing the common intolerance!! ATHEIST - someone who does no longer trust in a God – any God – no longer in simple terms the Christian one. yet that does no longer advise they do no longer carry reliable moral or non secular beliefs! they could follow any faith that does no longer have a god and there are truly some those!! Like BUDDHISM – non secular preparation from Buddha and his followers that by destroying greed, hatred and delusion (the reason behind all suffering) guy can attain acceptable enlightenment!! So at the same time as christians do no longer trust in a god an undesirable lot are followers of religion!! upload christians and muslims jointly and they quantity to easily below a third of the international inhabitants virtually all of a few thing is created from atheists and religions without gods!! so that they are interior the majority the following!!! Your submit obviously illustrates that the christians on the following reason a difficulty no longer about idea, God or Jesus yet about their extraordinarily undesirable attitudes and habit!!

The question about "hanging around the religious section" has been answered quite often. Check the "resolved questions" to get a survey of responses.
As to the "expressing extreme hatred" that may be just a question of your perception. When one believes that one has the only truth, one tends to be very sensiitive when their beliefs are questioned.
As to "indecent language," I never find it useful, as it is rather inaccurate, and I prefer to express myself more clearly than "indecent language" allows.

You should see the words christians use when they see us.
Ive only seen a very small amount of atheists use swear words but loads of christians swear at us.
And just so you know the reason most of us come on here is because some questions are posted for us or that we see questions that make fun of us and so we try to correct the image that some have of us as sinners and people filled with hate.

I've never expressed hatred or used bad language here.
I have been trying to have discussions with people who have different views then I do and I have been looking for someone how has interesting ideas that I haven't heard yet.
The only people I don't like are those who are mean spirited or call for violence or hatred of others.

Asking you awkward questions or presenting you with decent evidence against your arguments is not "extreme hatred". I rarely see atheists use indecent language (and don't approve if they do). And you don't have an intrinsic right to respect from anyone.

I think a lot of them come here because they don't believe in the spiritual realm and it makes them feel smart when we only give spiritually based answers for questions. They believe that since our answers are not logical and rational that they are also not valid. This is the great divide Paul mentions in 1st Corinthians 2:14: The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Some of them are probably being drawn by the Spirit and want to respond, but are waiting until they can be assured with logic and reason.
Some are just mean.
EDIT: Of course not all atheists are mean and hateful, and my answer is to the specific question.

Why did you not see the exact same question posted only a few posts down the page only a few minutes ago? Why do Christians ask this question at least twice a day, if not more? And why, oh why, can't Christians use the search function?

I respect you for your beliefs, and I don't hate anyone here unless there are signs of bigotry or if they force their beliefs down my throat.
I hang around because I like to. I like to learn about people. There are so many others here looking for answers about their questions about religions.
Please don't typecast us. Granted there are atheists here who like to express their feelings by forcing their ideas on to those of religion but there are others that don't.

Do you show respect? think about it...
I have better things to do than "hang around" religious "sections"....
I do what I have to do, period...
Some atheists show lack of respect, some Christians also show that lack of respect...
