I am in high school and my girlfriend and I are really happy together. However, her really close friend will not stand us doing anything together; we cannot kiss, hug, or even hold hands. For some reason, she feels resentment towards me. This girl also treats my girlfriend like a little pet, and my girlfriend justs lets her do it. Are there any suggestions on what either my girlfriend or I can do to improve the situation?

Go out to places her girlfriend can't come. She feels resetment because you are taking her friend away from her. She used to hang out with your girlfriend till you got in the way. Your GF needs to talk to her friend and tell her that you are in the picture now too and to lay off. She might be afraid that when you decide to break up wiith her or your relationship ios over, that there will be no friend to hang out with then.

Next time you are with them both tell them how you feel and that you don't really think your girlfriend needs another mother. Tell your girlfriend that you really like her but if it continues to happen you will walk away.
Just give her a thought that you will move on with someone else unless it changes and I bet she would not want to lose you and things will change. Good luck.

I think that there may be something going on with your gf and this other girl if she is letting her control her that much. Maybe you should look for another girlfriend somewhere else.

it sounds like her friend is jelious, you could try fixing her up with someone so she will not have all that time bothering on what you guys are doing she will be off doing stuff with her boyfriend but be very careful she might try and split you guys up by saying stuff about you, the same thing happened with me in high school my friend told me all kinds of bad stuff about my boyfriend so I broke off with him to find out later that all the stuff she said was not true she just wanted him for herself good luck to you I hope it all works out

one of you, or both of you can confront her and tell her what the "issue" is. i wouldn't let that girl get in the way of you and your girlfriend.
