1. Iran has sent in fighters to cause chaos

2. The media in the US and around the world only reports the bad news and never the good news. Most of the country is under control.

3. Democrats have undermined Pres Bush's war efforts for years. They have lied about terrorist surveillance (they call it domestic spying). They have given a false representation of what is going on.

I think one of the biggest problems is with the Iraqi Army. They have no sense of what a true military is like. They went from fearing their superiors (under Sadaam) to knowing they won't get shot for goofing of. So now they are taking advantage of their freedom. We worked with them at our base and It was like working with a bunch of kids we had to look after them all the time. If they werent accidentally shooting themselves or each other they were leaving their weapons laying around while they had tea parties (i'm serious about the tea parties). There are some excellent Iraqi Soldiers but there are alot more not so great ones.

When a soldier has to have his family buy him body armor because the US Army will not, you have problems. When you have the military sent to war by men who avoided military service, you have a problem. There is no "post Iraq", it is all present, and we all have a big problem.

The main problem the USA has encountered is corruption and false promises. I don't know of many USA citizens that would have supported this war had they known the president was lying to them.
