My mum has been separated for four years. She is a very young 60 year old and I know she feels lonely. Id love her to meet someone of her age group to chat and go out together. Anyone matching that criteria on here? We are in the midlands. (Ireland)

Its nice that you care about your mother and want to help her not feel lonely. But to just go looking for a man for her is a bit presumptuous.Maybe you should talk to her first and see if it is something she would want you to do.She may be quite happy not having a man in her life right now.Talk to her first.Good luck..

How nice are you. I am 51 of irish descent and thats how my girls must feel cause there are always telling me to get out there, but when your confidence and self-esteem is low its hard. I have been a single mum for many years and you get stuck in a rut, but your mum should be so proud that you are worried about her. I live in the north west so tell her if she ever wants a chat feel free to drop a line. Dont you be worrying too much cause we are made of strong stuff and it will all come good in the end. Tell your mum I said Hi.

i know how you feel, my dad died about 22 years ago, leaving my mum a widow at 42, shes now 64 and she must be so lonely, (4 male company) i mean, as im with her every day, the nights must get so boring, but you cant make her, ask her how she feels about meeting new people, but good luck with your search lol

Sorry I don't know anybody, but you "sound" really nice. If the apple doesn't fall far from the tree I'm sure she will find someone.

Best of luck!
