I have a bad back, cannot exercise....and my weight is out of control. NutriSystem sounds like it would work. I am at the point of doing or trying most anything. I feel so unhealthy, fat, and tired all of the time. I need to do something now! I just eat what is convenient at the time, mostly junk, and I seem almost addicted to it. What is out there that can help me? I've read up on Hoodia, because of my constant appetite...I understand it kills the appetite, Has anyone ever tried that?? I need suggestions, but remember my situation, Im temporarily handicapped.

Hi I would recommend you try herbalife, its all nutrition based so if you are laid up for a while it will not only help you lose weight but it will make you healthy too and you dont have to exercise whilst taking it. , if you want to lose weight, improve your health generally, and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months

cleansings not a bad thing, tho theres no substitute for the old-fashioned way - scads of water and fasting (for a reasonable period, not excessive. talk to a doctor first)

two things are necessary:

1) start exercising now. find ways that don't bother your back. there are always things you can do, even if they just involve small isolated groups like hands feet, forearms, etc..even fingers. learning a useful new physical skill counts (jewelry-making, woodcarving..). search online, keep asking till you find somebody who knows. try to find things that provide some exercise that are fun, otherwise its very hard to stick with it. to this base you can later add bigger things that will help your recovery, as your doctor recommends.

2) when you're stuck in one place, its tempting to snack because its fun and easy to do. Its not because you're truly hungry, its because you're bored. Its important to find other more satisfying things to do instead, that you truly enjoy doing, and that give you a feeling of accomplishment. when you think of snacking, do those other things instead. make it fun.
it may take a few tries to find the things that are perfect for you. you can do it.

be patient with yourself and keep experimenting.
