Suppose i told you there are a few Jackson Pollacks available for purchase from a very private collection, prices start below 1 million and the largest piece below 20million, this piece is larger than the one David Geffen sold for 140Million and very comparable as well, very possibly superior.

would you be able to buy one of these after your satisfied of its authenticity?

proof of funds required.

No, I wouldn't. If someone had legitimate Jackson Pollack paintings they wouldn't be selling them privately for those prices unless the paintings were stolen or had already been appraised for less than the price being asked.

Who's going to sell a genuine Pollack at those prices when they can auction it for substancially more? Who other than a tasteless cretin would buy a Pollack for any reason other than selling for a profit?

if i had the opportunity to buy one, and I had the money for it, yes. But then again, not every painting for Jackson Pollock is a masterpiece; I would purchase Full Fathom Five.

No, definitely not. I would rather buy a Picasso or a Kandinsky.

yes I would buy it. I love pollock but not all his works
