Of course!

Morality is SUBJECTIVE. There is no ultimate moral code.

Let's take one commandment and tear it apart.. I won't mess around here, I'm going for the big one.... none other than

THOU SHALT NOT KILL

- well if someone broke into my house and was hurting my family, I'd KILL THEM and I'd be JUSTIFIED in doing so.

Ok ok ok I know what's coming... some brainwashed fundy freak is going to say, "The correct translation is not "kill" but "murder""

FINE!!!!

"THOU SHALT NOT MURDER"

You just shot yourself in the foot with this one... SUDDENLY GODS LAW DEPENDS ON MANS LAW. So, if your government says murder (or abortion) is ok, then IT IS OK.

IF YOU ARE outside the jurisdiction of a state, then ANYTHNIG GOES!! And god says it's ok to murder OR kill anyone you want.

Freaky isn't it? Morality is TOTALLY subjective. It changes from person-to-person, from day-to-day, from minute-to-minute.

Morality HAS never been the same, and WILL never be the same from one person to another.

Definitely. Moral standards change as the culture changes. This is because morality is subjective.

Within society... definitely.

Within some churches, yes (Gay ministers in Lutheran churches for example)

Some religious groups insist on maintaining consistant moral standards...

Liberals want to end morality.

Yes, definitely since Old Testament times.

Slavery is no longer acceptable, for example, and in Western societies we at least try to treat women as equal human beings rather than possessions of their fathers or husbands.

While genocides are still unfortunately common, I don't think too many people claim they are ordained by God these days.....

......on second thoughts, maybe we still have a long way to go.

The only problem is that morality is subject to individual perspective

They have changed from the Old Testament to the New Testament.

Exodus says we should take an eye for eye tooth for tooth.

Jesus says we should not...that we should forgive our enemies and the sins of others

God's laws never change...it is man that degenerates. The Bible tells us that men will wax worse and worse in the last days. Lovers of self, sexual perversion, heady and high-minded, drunkards and one for me lol glutenous, (Love those church potlucks lol) etc. Mmm
