Can you get (Alltel) cell phone service in Canyonlands Nationial Park near Moab Utah? I am most concened with the backroads and remote areas.

My mom lives in the LaSalle Mountains and the only cell company she has had any luck with at all is Verizon. Alltel is a no go.

not many cell phones work in most remote areas, unless you have "line of sight" with the nearest cell tower...
some satellite phones don't work in deep valleys or gorges, either...
