Do not challenge the Lord. He is a lot more powerful than you think. Keep up with that attitude and the Lord may cause you to have a very quick death, a slow painful death, or a very painful, long, agonizing life. That last one fits my life very well for the challenge I made to God. Now I know I cannot win.

2 Peter 3:9-12
9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.[a]
11Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives 12as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming.

I used to be like you. An individual who makes fun of God, and at times scoff at Him, but just remember that if you continue to do the things you do against God, He’ll slap you silly making you change your misguided ways.

Can a mortal frighten God? The only thing frightening is your ignorance and pride.

No, he isn't scared. He just got caught up making a note of your sarcastic and egotistical comments in his book. He'll be sure to talk to you about it later......

"He who sits in the heavens laughs,
The LORD scoffs at them.
Then He will speak to them in His anger,
and terrify them in His fury..."
(Psalm 2:4,5)
Stick around. God has all the time in the world.
