Any idea what it would cost? I'm thinking marble would be just as much. I like how granite shines. I don't think there's a arborite that shines as much. Is there?

Depends on where you buy it. Home Depot wants about $50. /sq ft installed.

depending how long the countertop is up to 1000$ and up for it ! But you will also need the polish for the granite and the impregnator ( once a year treatment) to put on the countertop to seal it .

Silestone is a good alternative; you get the same look and feel as granite but it's a little cheaper.

yes its very expenive like $700 for a 5 and a half foot by 2 foot. thats how much i paid for mine. its really good. it cleans easily and you could put hot pots on it. it beautiful
