i am from india ;i met this wonderful girl (i am 36 she is 22) on the net moved on to phone chat and then a date . but her family is very conservative and will not accept a man of her choosing . so she decided to call it off rather hurtfully by a text message . although i am sympathetic to all she said ever ( she is very ill sometimes with brain haemorrhage ) she suddenly seems to have become ANNOYED . will not take calls , e cards , gets angry if i sms . i am most confused . her cousin sister eloped on the night of our date she does not want to give her parents any pain like that which her uncle and aunt are going through . the date was so successful .. can anyone throw some light .. i am utterly confused to say the least . does she want me to stay and cajol or go . why should 5 text messages in 3 days from me make her say she will change number ? she is a blunt person like me so if she wanted to tell she did not like she would have said . period . and the date was real chemistry

means is she doing this to shield me because she has said so before many times that she will not become a burden on my shoulders . my support in her illness was the way we got to be close in chat and phone

Well, obviously she is ignoring you and is getting annoyed by you,
that should be your sign to leave her alone. No matter how good the date was, you need to let it go now, before you make her hate you.
If it is meant to be, it will happen. Give it a rest.

She obviously would like you to move on and you are not getting the point. She had decided to go with what will keep her and her family at peace and you are annoying her by not excepting the facts.

Move on she is not the one for you. Yea there may have been real chemistry at once but she has chosen to abide with her families wishes.

She may like you very much, but it sounds like she is acting mature and real about her health issues. Her family will do what they think is best for her and if you want to stay in touch be understanding and be a friend for now. Don't push for dates right now just let her know that you understand and would like to be her friend and hopefully stay in touch with each other by email or IM.

Here's blunt....it sounds like she doesn't like you. Sorry...it's seems pretty obvious that she lied to you so as to gently let you down. Then you keep messing with her and she's getting irritated that you didn't get the point.

She's young and fickle and has changed her mind--or has found someone else. Do not waste anymore of your time or emotions on her--you'll only be hurt.
