I had my first boyfriend in the 5th grade. We dated on and off as much as you can when you are that young, but he told one of his friends that he didn't want to date me anymore because I was getting uglier and uglier every day. 5th grade relationships can sometimes hurt, but they are not the end of the world. You grow up, you become more secure in yourself and the relationships finally become worth it. Don't stress yourself out too much on this and don't take it personally ( I know that is hard). Just because he doesn't want to date you, doesn't mean that you aren't a wonderful person. If you want to date people, then date them, but do not EVER stay in a relationship that is hurting you (emotionally, physically, mentally, etc.). If he doesn't want to be with you anymore, then say "screw it" and move on. Life is too short to get caught up in relationships that aren't working out especially at such a young age (one of my older male friends claims that guys are not worth dating until they are 25 so you have a long way to go!). Good luck and don't ever start to think down on yourself because of a guy; they are not worth it!

Yes sweetie, many ARE too young for boyfriend/girlfriend relationships and at 11 you fall into that category. Nobody is too old, but kids/children are too young.
Concentrate on friendships and school and learning skill and activities that will benefit you in the future. Boys are always going to be around, and when you have all matured some more, a few years down the road, is when you (all) be more emotionally able to handle relationships appropriately and to deal with the emotions that can come with that.
Give it another 3 years for that kind of interaction, and a couple of years after that for one-on-one dating..

Well, hurting goes both ways. You have to realize that the majority of relationships will ultimately end, the vast majority never last forever. Take comfort in that. Also, use this as a growth experience. Remember all the good things that came from this and move on in a positive way. Remember how he hurt you and never do that to anyone you may be dating. And remember, always respect yourself first.

Hun, the only reason your hurting is because your allowing this boy to hurt you. Your 11... you said it yourself. give it some time and another boy will come along and make you just as happy. Promise. Besides, his new girl toy is going to drop him in no time. Its not good for middle scholars to be dating kids from elementary, its bad for there reps. Good luck.

to answer your question, why do girls hurt me?
been oging out with this girl, i swore i loved her, yes we both gave eachother virginity, but still 2 years we've been going out, prom, california 4 times. etc. i loved her, then we broke up, later found out when she was camping, I was watching there dog and there house, she got drunk and had sex with a couple mexicans,
she goes out with a guy a week after we broke up, and i guess they already "love each other" so they made love also.
As for me?
I'm single going to church and loving god.
Please don't make aquisations* about guys. Cause some of them are actually good.

That's like this guy at my school. You just got to think of it this way. He's missing out on somebody like you. He might be a jerk right now. But he might ask you out again. And you're just going to have to remember what he told you.(That a lot of girls like him.) You can get another boyfriend. There are a lot of guys who like me and, I would NEVER go out with a guy who likes me. And brake up with my boyfriend. Talk to him. Tell him how you feel. Tell him how he is so stupied of breaking up with you. I hope this works!!!!

you are too young. dont date boys until your in late middle school at earliest. there are ages that are too young for people to date. Lets just assume you are really mature for your age, the boys your dating wont be, or shouldn't be. Just enjoy being a kid for a little longer, trust me

First of all you are the age of my youngest sister and if I found out that she was dating guys I would kick her butt because she is way too young to be doing that. Secondly, you are way to young to be dating. Third, you have your whole life ahead of you....You don't need to be dating right now because you are too young!
