There is no way you can know someone after one date. You learn more about that person with every interaction you have with them.
It is naive to think one date will give you a true picture of that person.

yes and no. you see... just by having one encounter with a person, you can tell a lot about them. With the way we dress, speak, act... you can tell a lot about a person. not necessarally stereotypes or assumptions.
I would say that you cant learn everything there is to know about a person on one day though. we can make judgements based on what happened and what perceptions we have, to decide whether a second date is in order or not.
Sure, you may or may not learn a persons favorite color, mothers maiden name, full history, or alergies in one sitting. You can, however, tell by actions how you may or may not be treated.
like it or not, everything we do is a reflection of self. If i were to wear a thong on a date, and it showed when i sat and could be visable not only by my date but by everyone... it means im not such a sweet innocent girl, probably that i dont have a problem expressing myself physically/sexually.... or i may not really respect myself or my environment.

One date? Your lucky, we have people thinking the now us who have never given us the time of day. Go figure? This world can get pretty strange sometimes. Not all people are like that, thank goodness!

That usually depends on the person. Or how long you talked and got to know eachother. But i might give it a few more dates before, thinking that you know someone. Good luck.

Yeh, we all like to think they are as perfect as they come across on the first date. It's difficult, but we just have to give relationships time.
The hormones and excitement of the new relationship make us feel like it's LOVE.
