Put it in a trust to earn interest and the profit it makes would go to charity.

1. Pay the tax man.
2. Establish a trust for:
*My church (Fremont Presbyterian, a really rockin' place!)
*The SPCA and other local animal rescue organizations.
*Ten $10k college/trade school scholarships for the students at the high school where I currently teach.
2. Establish a secret trust for each of my children (I have three), payable 20 years from now.
3. Establish a trust for myself, with payments payable six years from now (I'll be 55 yrs. old by then, hopefully ... (;=] ).

Pay off existing debt. Set aside money for my childrens college. Buy something extravagant for my wife and for myself. Invest the rest. Live life to the fullest with the joy of being debt free.

I would make sure all my bills were paid, make a trust for both of my children.
Take a small vacation and then get back to work!
I love my job...and don't see me quitting just because I came into some money.

if i were in the miss america beauty pageant, i would say that i would put it towards world peace or give it to charity, but i probably wouldn't. 10% would go to my tithing in church, then half would go into my college account and some would go towards my dog, and the rest would go towards a shopping spree at the mall or ross

put most of it away for college and a nice cozy apartment, give a million to my parents and sister, put sum in the bank and probably sum organization for cancer reasearch
