I was in a similar situation last year, not exactly the same but similar. I was crying all of the time when I was alone and putting on an act when I was in front of others. First, you need to see a doctor before anything else. I was put on zoloft and maybe it would work for you? It will help a lot more than you think. Next, you need to remove yourself from the home for awhile until your parents and yourself can get the help that you each need. Therapy can work wonders if you find somebody you trust. Poetry like that worked for me as well, it is a good outlet. Oh and as for Saw 3? I laughed as well, it doesn't mean you are insane. Lol, but honestly, please see a doctor as soon as possible. I hope that everything works out for you! Just stay strong, I know you can do it.

Yes, you do need help. I went thru similar circumstances. Doctors today recognize verbal abuse as probably the most serious of abuses, including sexual abuse. I was in my 40's before I came to terms with my abuse but thirty years later I still feel pangs of insecurity and physical pain. The good part is those feelings do not last long because I recognize their origin and pass beyond it. The sick ones are your parents. They were probably abused as children and are passing it on because it is all they know. You can stop the abuse cycle. Talk to a counselor. Find some self-help books in the library. Above all, recognize your qualities and work at improving your writing. Maybe some day your name will be in the same sentence with Maya Angelou. Good luck!

NOBODY can MAKE you FEEL anything! You always have a choice. When your parents call you stupid or curse you it is horrendeous but only if you believe it. Take vitamin B-12 and St. Johns Wort for herbal remedies if you can't get them to take you to the doctor. This is to assist in combating depression. Get a trusted adult and TALK IT OUT. Maybe you can live with a relative such as a grandparent or uncle/aunt. This would help until you are finished with school. You can't prove verbal abuse and it is often discusting to a child. Don't take anything they say to you personally. Think of it as their depression disorder talking. Keep away from horror movies and depressing music and such. Go to church for youth groups.

You need to confide in someone at your school. Yes, this is abuse. But, be prepared, hard to prove.
You do not have an illness, you are emotional due to the pain you suffer daily at the hands of your parents.
Good luck Hon...others have been there too. You sound stronger than this, I know you will make it through!

Go talk to your school counselor or your teacher or principial. Heres why.
it is a win win situation.
Let them know what you are going through, and they can help you by getting you someone to talk with or live with that will make your life better. Also, by telling a teacher, you will get easy grades becasue they know you are struggling at home.
I went through a lot of hell as a kid, like you are now, and I didnt do this and teachers and school got a lot harder on me and my life was made even worse. Go tell your teacher and or principal and your life will get easier, I promise.

as difficult as this will be, you MUST:
--report the abuse you're enduring to someone in authority
(teacher, guidance counselor, family doctor, grandparent, etc.)
you don't deserve to be abused by anyone, especially a parent.
--you MUST seek counseling or pyschiatrist assistance to sort out your emotional (good, bad, or indifferent). you appear to be struggling with depression too.
please remember:
suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
fight to live. you deserve a loving/accepting life. demand it!

As a mental health worker, PLEASE SEEK IMMEDIATE HELP! No answer on here will be of great help, you need professional counseling and help. Look in the phone book for the human services center in your area. Mental illness does run in the family, it is genetic. If you are having suicidal thoughts, call 911. Play it safe.

Start with telling a school counselor or nurse. Social Services might need to get involved if it's as bad as you say, and that would be a good way to get it started.

wow thats kinda creepy and a little offbeat. my advice, dismiss your feelings and go tell your mom to go **** herself (kidding)
just dismiss your feelings and dont pay attention to them and go into your own little world. and do some crazy things that could break bones like doing a backflip or sliding down a school rail or jumping out of a tree but hey thats just me and how i used to deal with things like that. and i never broke a bone by the way.
