yes, you all know i'm the dog expert, but i also have 16 parakeets. they do the exact same thing. i don't know why, but they do. all 16 of them. dunno, maybe it's b/c they like their own specific corner or something. who knows? :)

Most of my budgies spell on the cage bars cloest to the walls. The father and three of the babies like to sleep hanging upsidown. My vet's aproved it as if it were just some weird thing that the father dose that got passed on...

I've got a scarlet macaw and he does the same thing, I think it may be a way to get out extra energy before bedtime.

maybe it the old primal instinct of getting to a safe place to sleep. usually the higher the better.

mine does that too they just like to pick the same spot for sleeping
