So if people don't worship God, then they are either worshiping Satan, or up to something that is beyond your comprehension,- interesting.

It would depend on what you would claim to be an Atheists I believe about 2 1/2% would be about right. if you consider those who feel they are Atheists but will will not admit it when asked I think it is probably more like 20%. But I don't consider them Atheists I consider them only hypocrites. Of course my figures are only my own estimation. I believe it is as accurate as anyone. There is actually no way of knowing for sure. A Satan worshiper is not an Atheists. You sound like one of those Christians who is so afraid their fantasy boogie man Satan will jump out and bite their butt if you don't accuse Atheists of being Satan worshipers.

Atheists do not worship satan. Believing in God is a prerequisite for believing in Satan. The word Atheist should not exist. I don't go around saying what I am not. My title is "Not Doctor" or "Not Mechanic". Believing in fiction is what I will not do. And that makes me an Atheist. I think those numbers are low. I believe a higher percentage are Atheists. In fact, read this interesting article that shows how Atheists are the new Gays. It's more acceptable for a Gay to say that he is gay than an Atheist to say he is an Atheist. http://dilbertblog.typepad.com/the_dilbert_blog/2006/11/atheists_the_ne.html

Nothing really. But yeah, a lot of people think that us athiests are devil worshippers when they don't realize that we don't believe in the devil either. It's also been said that those without god have no morals, and I can tell you that's definately not true. There's nothing going on much here; I'm living my life the way I want to as best as I can, and not depending on a higher being to decide for me. When I die I will be only giving back to the earth as a beautiful tree or a field of flowers.

I think that 0% of people who claim to be atheists worship Satan. "Atheists" are people who do not believe there is a God. Logic would tell you that if they don't believe there is a God, they certainly wouldn't believe in Satan. They simply don't believe in a Deity of any kind. I know that when you're religious, it's difficult to grasp the concept of living with no belief in a god-like being, but atheists don't. They think that everything is naturally occurring, and not the result of any spiritual being waving a magic wand or something.

Its more like 10% of the population is Atheist. Athiests are NOT satan worshippers, they don't believe your god and satan exist. Period.
Whats going on is that Atheists aren't living deluded and brainwashed, they're just living.

Just that they don't believe in God(s). Satanists are not satan worshippers. The Satanists think of Satan as a symbol, not a god. Satan worshippers are just perverted Christians, Satan is a Christian god.
Atheists simply don't believe in God(s). They prefer reality to fantasy.

I think it's higher than that. It depends on how its counted. The ARIS study said that the percentage of atheists was about 1% - 3% (depending on if you included "agnostics" and "secular humanists".) However, the same study said that the number of people who claim "no religion" to be about 14.1%. Generally, I see numbers around 6%, but growing.
I have many atheist friends, and I have met a few Satanists. They are not the same.
There is nothing "going on" with them. They are normal people like most. They just aren't convinced that any gods exist.

I'm sure there are more than that. There are also large numbers of agnostics. And no, they're not worshiping Satan-- doing so would imply they have an allegiance with some sort of deity, which is against the basic principle of their religions.
I myself am agnostic, which basically means I believe you can't prove either way that there is or isn't a god.

Atheists believe in themselves & in facts--No atheists are "Satan-worshipers"--as atheists don't believe in any supernatural beings. Also Atheists tend to lead much more moral lives--as they take responsibility for their own actions--they can't use the excuse-"the devil made me do it"--In fact most Atheists were previously theists but just got fed up with the hypocrisy & tribalism they witnessed through organized religion.
