When your finances are incapable of continuing to care for your children then you have to many.

When you find yourself with not enough time to love and adore your children equally, stop, you've reached your limit.

Remember children need love, affection, leadership, education, and a hero. Be that hero.

I think that depends on the person. However, sadly I have a lot of friends who are "well off" and they refuse to have children because their careers are way to important even though they could raise a lot of kids. However, I am glad they don't because they really wouldn't give them any attention. On the other hand I have some friends who are really struggling but they can't seem to stop having kids. I'm not too sure why, however most of the kids do have different fathers. Then they complain the whole time about how they have no money and how everyone needs to help them out because they can't afford to raise their 6 kids and one on the way...and I just have to look at them and go well, if you stuck with just two you'd probably be ok right now......

I think 4 is plenty, I personally want 2, a girl and a boy. I have a boy, so if the next one is a boy then I'll have 3, but no more than that. It's however many you can handle. But, I don't think the older ones should have to take care of the older ones. Also, financially it's harder to have more than a few because it's almost impossible to pay for 8 or 10 college tuitions these days or buy 8 or 10 cars.

Too many kids would depend on your family and your income. Someone with a low income cannot support a herd of kids. But if you earn a decent living, then the sky is the limit of how many kids you have. It would be a personal preference on your part, it depends how much you love kids, whether or not you have help to raise them from family and if you can
financially support them. I have 2 kids and hoping for a 3rd and thats it. But if I am lucky enough to hit the lottery one day, then I would probably pop out a few more :)!!

There is no law against how many kids you have just the moral argument, how many can you afford without having to claim benefits to support you and your growing brood!! I have 4 children, 2 from my first marriage and 2 from my current, all of which I have supported myself and with the help of 1st husbands maintenance payments! Unfortunately too many women see having kids as an easy way to gain and sustain a way of life for themselves..i.e more kids more money the government will GIVE them.. it's disgusting!!!

I think that to many is somewhere between 7-12. I want 3-6 kids honestly and 1 is not enough. But to many to where you cant support the people you need to supprot such as your spouse your self and the kids and if you can handle then then great! But if you can then you dont have to many!

As many as you want and can afford to have. I have one but want more. I say I would like 4 kids, but I guess I'll never know for sure until I have my next. My sister has two and she can't handle them and thinks that is to many for her. My mom had 7. I think it depends on the person and it is OK if you change your mind. Remember though you can't get rid of the kids you have! LOL

I guess it's your perspective. I have 8 kids, but it only feels like 6 because I have two sets of twins. I have Lillian [12] , Connard & Colton [10], Aldan [8], Callie [6], Melody & Ellerie [4], and baby Lucas (Lukey) [2].
But...To each his own. I'm happy, and nicely supporting my large and joyous family. Personnly, I don't think there's a limit on children.
Too many children, is like saying there's too much love <3.
Best of luck to you =]

I'm one of 5. Anyway, how ever many you want is fine and no one else's business. I'd say 7 or more is too many personally... but I saw a show on TLC where this couple had 17 biological children
