Hahaha. I was wandering about that too. Well, for your information I wasn't fat. Having a large waistline has an advantage. You can carry more tools on your belt because you have more room to fit all the tools you need. Those tools can make a different whether you will come back alive or not at times. Plus you can belly slap your silly partner when you get into an argument with him. If you have a small waist you'll have to pick and choose what you'll carry. I was very envious of all the things those guys with huge waistlines can carry with them. A large waistline is a perk that comes with the job.

Hey, the last time I heard that joke was about 25 years ago on Johnny Carson! Thanks for the stale memories! As for fat cops, they are no fatter than the population that they protect. Since half of all Americans (that includes you too I am sure) are fat, why shouldn't we cops be too?

Man-you should see the cops I know. I represent a sheriff's department and a Detention Center and my officers are very buff. So-take about 450 cops off your list.

What is wrong with you. Most are not fat they just have to wear a lot of gear to protect themselves and the people who are very critical to what they do. They save your life and manage to raise a family on meager wages. And you have the nerve to say half of the SH*T that you just said. Grow up!

you think cops in US are fat, I guess you haven't seen Mexican cops, the ones on motorcycles have to have a side cart for their belly.
and no US cops aren't fat most of them are pretty fit.
