Use ign key to lock door with all doors shut.

Remove key, wait a couple of seconds and use key to unlock door. That should turn off the alarm system.
If not your system has lost some part of the memory that should be recognizing the key.
If it still acts up, you may have to take it to a shop that can flash the key for you. Dealer should have a remote you can buy for about $40.

Ok, pretty simple solution here. Lock all doors by opening the driver's side door, and using the power lock button. Close the door. Then unlock the driver's side door with the key. Should solve the problem. Be sure that when you unlock the driver's door again that you use an original Jeep Key not a copy, or the problem will never go away. What is happening is your jeep is letting you know that the anti-theft system has been deactivated either due to in your case a battery change, or someone attempted to open a door on your jeep with a key other than one that you have used.

You won't find the above information in the owner's manual even if you had one. I found out about that issue after I locked my keys in mine one day and used a different key to open the door. I found out how to correct the problem thanks to Bucks 4X4 Center in Boise, Idaho.

is it a factory or a after market? if it is factory, take it in, if it is aftermaket find the siren and cut the wires! to it! then find one of your friends that knows car audio and/or car alarms (the wires are colorcoded so the it won't be that difficult) a guy that know car audio will beable to notice somethin that is after market! the alarm usally looks like a little box about 4" x 4" and 75% of the time is mounted under neath the stearing wheel! you might have an ignition kill switch so, let the guy who knows car electronics mess with it! it really isn't that hard.
