if anybody says anything about Jewish people, they are all up in arms and we are doing hate crimes and eveything. I really do not have any problems with Jewish people other than this stuff. It is irritating. They are still Jesus' enemies.

Hollywood is the devil's playground. What else would you expect from the devil?

Yeah, there's an institutional hypocrasy there. But you know what? Even if I'm not a practicing Catholic, I'm proud to be a member of a faith that can let things like this slide: Depict Jesus in a newspaper? No problem! Make fun of the Pope? We all do! (Really - the higher up the ladder you get in the Roman Catholic Church, the bigger and goofier your hat gets -if we can't take ourselves seriously, why should we force anyone else to?) Taking a poke at Catholosism isn't personally insulting to me. And if it was? What was that line Jesus has about the cheek-turning?

It's going to get worse, I believe.

It's the only 'acceptable' hate crime left in America. I gather from the tone of your letter that you blame the Jewish people for what is coming out of Hollywood? I do not agree with that view. I also do not consider them Jesus' enemies.

Christianity is being bashed because we allow it to and let's face it, we don't exactly stand out as shining examples to others. We should be ashamed of ourselves for not letting Christ be seen in us. I mean, if we truly walked the walk instead of talking the talk there would be no problem. But we let hatemongers like Fred Phelps grab the limelight. Now there's a man who makes me wanna puke and does no good to further the cause of Christianity.

Hollywood slights everybody, you seem a bit hyper-sensitive when it's your religion though.

"They are still Jesus' enemies" Are you on the pipe?

Jesus son of Joseph was born a Jew and died a Jew. The people who hated Jesus were the Roman installed Jewish religious heads who were worried that if they didn't put Jesus down they would be seen as supporting it.

By singling out Jews, you sound sort of bigoted, but I understand when you are coming from. It seems to be more and more acceptable to put down Christians, while it's totally unacceptable to show intolerance to ANY other group or faith. I really don't care what the typical Hollywood type says or does. Jesus did say that people hated Him before they hated us so we are in very good company.

May God Bless you.

Probably because Christians are all the time saying annoying and racist things like "How come the slights handed out to Christian by Hollywood are totally accepted but...etc."

Because Jewish people don't make a big deal about being Jewish, Christian like to throw it in your face on a daily basis. Plus the fact that there are more Christians than Jews, so its pretty messed up to slam a minority religion, don't you think???
