I've heard a great many people mock the prophecies in the Bible. Predicting wars and rumors of wars, nation rising against nation...well, this is alot like predicting rain.
Really?
Can you, then, oh philosopher, agnostic, scientist, atheist, whatever...can you sit there and tell us for a fact that mankind will not find a way to live together peacefully in the next 2,000 years?
For that matter, can you promise that there won't be some atmospheric disaster that will change the climate? A meteor,. perhaps, like the one tha wiped out the dinos, or maybe a solar flare, or...
If you can predict with a surety that there will be wars for the next couple of thousand years, or that humanity will even be around for that long, I'd like to hear from you....
We can go get a lottery ticket...I'll pay, you prophecy the numbers for me, and we'll split the winnings.
Better yet, write your wisdom down in a book, so that people can argue about it for the next 2000 years...
